Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business Awards
Sarasota's most prestigious business awards ceremony. This annual event recognizes local member businesses in a number of categories: Small Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Retail Business of the Year, Cultural Organization of the Year, Non-Profit Organization of the Year, and Health Care/Wellness Organization of the Year.
Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon
The Chamber’s Annual Meeting recognizes the accomplishments of The Chamber over the past year and identifies the goals for the following year. Salute to Business will recognize business in three areas: Hiring Our Neighbors, Investing in the Future, and Milestone Anniversaries.
The largest Business After Hours of the year held by Manatee and Greater Sarasota Chambers of Commerce. This trade-show event offers incredible exposure for your business products and services, as well as being an outstanding networking opportunity. The event will feature over 150 exhibits, door prizes, cash bars, and complimentary appetizers provided by Chamber member restaurants.
Chamber Bowling Tournament
The Greater Sarasota Chamber Bowling Tournament welcomes bowlers of all skill levels to participate in this exciting night includes networking, 2 games of bowling & shoes, a complimentary drink ticket and food, contests and prizes, and much more!
Sarasota Summer Showcase
Sarasota Summer Showcase is a networking event that will be hosted at various Chamber member business locations from 5:30-7:30 p.m annually. Whether you choose to exhibit or attend, you can expect to start your summer with new business contacts and enjoy music, food and a cash bar. Members and non-members are invited to attend a FREE start of the summer hoorah to get the season started off right!
The Chamber offers a variety of networking events at different times and venues to meet all our member’s needs. Whether morning, lunch-time or evenings, Chamber networking events draw an average of 25-40 attendees for a breakfast and lunch, and upwards of 60-75+ for after-hours events.
Make connections with Chamber business professionals at the new Chamber Connect event held bi-monthly at various locations throughout Greater Sarasota. Enjoy light appetizers, drink specials and door prizes in a laid back atmosphere perfect for meeting your next customer or client. Chamber Connect is typically held on the third Thursday bi-monthly, making it an event that you won't want to miss!
Power Hour Lunch
Hungry for new business? Leverage your lunch with the power of business referrals at Power Hour Lunch. At this event, each guest is invited to make an introduction to the group and pitch an elevator speech about their business.
State of the Community Lunch Series
The "State of the Community Lunch Series," brings presenters from around the Greater Sarasota area to share insider information with you over lunch. Topics range from new things coming to Sarasota, important happenings and issues our local businesses need to know. Enjoy local cuisine from various member restaurants, while great speakers keep you engaged with the happenings in Sarasota. The State of the Community Lunch Series is held quarterly on the last Friday of the month.
Shumaker Chamber University
Chamber University is an innovative program designed to address critical topics and to help prepare participants to meet the ever-changing demands of the 21st century workplace. The program provides individualized growth and development opportunities for entry level to executive leadership covering the entire gamut from “nuts & bolts” to “visionary thinking.”
