Chamber Announces Small Business Awards Finalists

2009 Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business Awards Finalists

SARASOTA, Fla. – (April 27, 2009) The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2009 Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business Awards.

The awards luncheon, which draws over 500 people and is sponsored by the Herald-Tribune Media Group, recognizes local member businesses in seven categories. The Chamber’s Small Business Council awards ceremony will be held May 26, 11:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota. Finalists are judged on several areas including innovation of product or service, response to adversity, business growth and contributions to community. The Chamber congratulates the three finalists in each of the categories.

The annual Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business Awards is a program of The Chamber’s Small Business Council (SBC), which exists to promote consumer trust in the business community, to assist our small business members in their growth, development and success, to recognize achievements and contributions of areas members, to encourage businesses to adhere to the highest ethical standards, and to facilitate resolution of consumer disputes. The SBC continuously strives to develop new programs that benefit its small business members.
