Chamber Welcomes 2009-2010 Board of Directors
2009-2010 GSCC Board of Directors
SARASOTA, Fla. (October 7, 2009) – The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) welcomes its 2009-2010 Board of Directors.
The board officers for the fiscal year, beginning October 1, are as follows: Bob Messick of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A., chair; Jeff Maultsby of Sarasota County Government, chair-elect; John Cranor of AFC Enterprises, immediate past chair; Tom Luzier of Dunlap & Moran, P.A., legal counsel; Kathy Collums of Sabal Palm Bank, treasurer; and Steve Queior president of The GSCC.
Directors chairing the three GSCC divisions and chairing The Chamber’s Sarasota Tomorrow initiative are: Economic and Community Development Division – Rick Piccolo, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport; Membership Benefits and Services Division – Lisl Liang, SRQ Media Group; Professional and Volunteer Development Division – Laura Harto, Think Bigger Consulting Group; and Sarasota Tomorrow Action Council – Maultsby.
Additional directors will chair the following GSCC councils: Government Issues Council – Nick Gladding, Ruden McClosky; International Business Council – Mike Walley, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport; Green Business Leadership Council – Michael Carlson, Carlson Studio Architecture; Workforce Innovation & Talent Development Council – Rich Odato, Odato Marketing Group, Inc.; Membership Benefits Council – Joseph DiSanti, Wachovia Bank; Small Business Council – Ben Jones, Kerkering, Barberio & Co.; Leadership Sarasota County – Larry Face, Next Level Achievement; Young Professionals Group – Amy Hunt, The Bank of Commerce; and Communications Council – Bob Hite, Eric Mower and Associates.
