Small Business Council
Overview
The Small Business Council acts as an advocate and resource for small business members of The Chamber. The SBC provides workshops and seminars on a variety of small business topics and one-on-one counseling sessions with SCORE and the Small Business Development Centers of Manatee Community College and the University of South Florida. Consumers are referred to business members through The Chamber's Referral Line and the Small Business Council acts as a resource to quickly address and help solve issues and challenges, allowing small businesses to grow and prosper. The SBC is currently working on developing a new set of programs that even further benefit our small business members. Keep checking this area of the site for new and added resources.
Mission
The Small Business Council exists to promote consumer trust in the business community, to assist our small business members in their growth, development and success, to recognize achievements and contributions of area members, to encourage businesses to adhere to the highest ethical standards, and to facilitate resolution of consumer disputes.
