Florida Backyard Card Campaign
The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with Florida Governor Charlie Crist, chambers and associations from across the state in the Florida Backyard Card incentive program.
Launched March 24, 2009, The Backyard Card campaign gives Floridians another good reason to get out and support their local businesses. As The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce encourages all members and future members to buy local, it is now offering the Backyard Card program to its members.
The Backyard Card program is a powerful marketing tool which members can leverage to grow business and stimulate local buying by offering shopping incentives to consumers.
To Get Started
- Add a value offer for your customers using this link:
Members
Future Members - Once reviewed and approved, your value offer will show up on www.FloridaBackyardCard.com for people to find and use.
- Keep updating and posting new values so you can attract more business. (You will receive a username and password once your first offer is reviewed.)
How It Works
- A GSCC administrator will review all value offers submitted before they appear on www.FloridaBackyardCard.com
- Consumers across the state will be urged to get a Florida Backyard Card, which will be available online and distributed by Florida Lottery retailers
- The campaign will be heavily promoted across the state by the Florida Lottery as well as print and broadcast media partners
- Consumers will access the online searchable database to find the best values in their own backyard
- The campaign will continue into the fall. You will be able to use your unique username and password to manage your account and change you special offers at any time.
