Workforce Innovation & Talent Development Committee
WITD Rolls Up its Sleeves to Meet Today's Challenges
Rolling up their sleeves to meet the urgent needs surfacing from a challenging economy,
Members of The Chamber’s Workforce Innovation & Talent Development Committee (WITD) are focused on:
- Developing a Jobs of Tomorrow forum with like-minded entities to provide job seekers with tools and information to enter, re-enter or plan for entry into the changing job market as it signals recovery.
- Providing support and expertise for a two-county workforce training grant being prepared for late Fall submission.
- Lending support for an evolving conversation about how we maximize Greater Sarasota’s position as a Mecca for aging baby boomers via a Sarasota Institute for the Ages.
WITD chair leading the charge for his second year, providing necessary continuity, is Rich Odato, President of Odato Marketing.
Chamber members interested in serving on the committee may contact Vicki Vega, vice president for small business development and innovation, at vvega@sarasotachamber.com.
