Florida's Cultural Coast

With its professional theaters, symphonies, ballet and opera, greater Sarasota is known as Florida's "Cultural Coast." We're home to more than 40 art galleries, artist communities, the Ringling Museum of Art and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The arts community surpasses that found in counties five or six times the size of Sarasota.

Sarasota County's cultural attractions include the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Florida West Coast Symphony, Jazz Club of Sarasota, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, Sarasota Film Festival and Towles Court Art Association to name a few.
