Engage Sarasota is a community orientation program for executives and residents who are eager to establish business and civic relationships, meet area leaders, and want to fast-track their learning about the inner workings of greater Sarasota – all with a minimum investment of time and money.
The program’s goal is to explore how all the business and civic topics covered relate, and how they are interconnected to the overall economic development and quality of life of the greater Sarasota area.
Participants will:

  • Broaden their working knowledge and understanding of the community via a monthly luncheon series with targeted topics at each program.
  • Acquaint themselves with formal and informal decision-making channels and local leaders - the people who make things happen.
  • Connect topics and meet people who will enrich their lives as business persons and residents.
This innovative program examines community sectors and topics including the local economy, media, health care, arts & culture, government, and education.

Sign up for the series, which begins Monday, October 2nd and runs through May 7th, and applications are available below or contact Barbara Hines:
bhines@sarasotachamber.com or (941) 556-4026.

A Bonus Welcome Session will be held at The Chamber at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11th. Registration for the series is $195. Register prior to September 1st for the early bird rate of $175! There may be an additional charge for each meal.

Note: All lunches are scheduled for the 1st Monday of the month except for January which is scheduled for the second Monday, January 8th, and April which is scheduled for the second Monday, April 9th.

Welcome to the Leadership Sarasota County Class of 2017.

LSC has been instrumental in helping me get to really know my community and what it's needs are. In addition, I have had the pleasure of getting to know many of the hundreds of other LSC graduates in our community and many of them have become close friends and business alliances. It has been invaluable in every way.
