As a result, young residents are ready to bridge the gap of corporations wanting to sustain a well-educated group of young professionals. The Young Professionals Group offers several programs, benefits and ways to become active and involved.
Networking Events
With this new generation of committed individuals, businesses and organizations in our community will gain an even greater advantage both economically, as well as culturally. YPG has several social, business and educational outlets, including:

YPG Perks
The YPG Member Benefits Committee brings additional advantages to our YPG Supporter Members with the Perks Program. This annual "discount" program gives Supporter Members access to reduced rates and/or discounts at certain venues throughout greater Sarasota such as cultural organizations, activity centers and restaurants.
Leadership Placement
The YPG Community Leadership Committee's goal is to inform and position young professionals in community leadership positions, nonprofit governing boards and government advisory councils.
YPG seeks to support and encourage such involvement as part of our mission of service to the community. The Community Leadership Committee works to build awareness and channel our membership towards leadership positions as well as help develop these leaders in their roles.

Volunteer Opportunities
The YPG believes the importance of being connected not only with other professionals in Sarasota, but also connected to our community at large. Volunteering is key in making that connection and giving back to the community that supports us.
As a group and a voice in the community, our YPG volunteer efforts give those who currently volunteer an opportunity to bring their experience to the YPG and provide those who are new to volunteering with help on where to start. Volunteering together is also another way to form new bonds within our own membership.
