InternConnect
What is InternConnect?
InternConnect creates meaningful, paid internship opportunities for students and emerging talent while helping employers build early connections with future employees. To encourage participation, employers are eligible for reimbursement of up to $3,000 per intern, helping offset wage costs while expanding access to talent.
The program aligns education and industry needs by pairing qualified interns with employers across a range of sectors. Interns gain hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities within the Sarasota business community.
InternConnect is made possible through the generous support of the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation. The program is part of the Chamber’s broader commitment to workforce development and economic vitality, helping retain emerging talent while ensuring local businesses have the workforce needed to thrive.
